Rajkamal Sindoor, also known as vermilion or kumkum, is a red-colored powder or paste that holds significant cultural and religious importance in Hinduism and some other South Asian traditions. It is traditionally applied by married Hindu women along the parting of their hair or on the forehead as a symbol of marital status and auspiciousness.
